Ever thought of mixing a Rearloaded with a Frontloaded Cab?
Did that somebody of you?

Adam Jones from Tool does it I believe... I thought I heard Peter Stapfer mention that in an interview. Said something about a kool phasing effect it has when you put them side by side instead of on top of each other.

I think that Adam did "Prison Sex" with that config, visa versa.

Adam does it with 2 heads and 2 cabs. Op was asking about 1 head and 2 cabs.

Little joke there, front loaded/rear loaded; prison sex.

I ran my VH4S with an older RL Diezel cab and a new FL. Sounded brutal. But that's all I can say, also sounded brutal through just one cab. I don't think there'd be much phasing as the head would be supplying a fairly simultaneous signal to both cabs. Sure, if one was out 100ft and the other 6 ft, maybe something going on there, but otherwise, it would just sound like to cabs being powered.

Yeah, I got it. I was replying to the banana with a gaping hole in logic. :D

I was using such combination in two or so years ago. I had VHT front loaded FatBottom and Rivera rear loaded K212. That was OK, but hated the VHT FatAss so changed to different cabs. In terms of front vs. back loaded in simultaneous use, it did not make much difference - At least with these cabs in concern.
