Did I sell that to you??
I know I shipped a few modded modules to Canada. ;)

I had a Benzin and now years later have a DMoll
The flavor is sort of there, but out of all the modules clones, Diezel is a tough one to copy. The power amp structure is so huge and powerful and that is tough to put in the preamp (module). Solid clear tones, but there's a bunch of other Salvation stuff I might rather have. MTS lends itself well to marshally based mods- I would go for his flagship Deluxe or the S1S0 if you wanted more aggression and sizzle. But if you find any Salvation on the used market it's a worth a spin- I love his stuff

I heard some clips and the Mark one sounded pretty close, same with the Shiva to Cantrell Bogner style tone.

The Salvation ones seem the best to me, but some of the JF ones are very cool also. Also hear the stock Plexi is great, maybe even the most authentic sounding Marshall module.

I might have bought that one.. I have a whitefaced friedman brahma. Isn't signed or anything but apparently was his mod and there are 3 or 4 parts difference between that and the stock. That said, the stock was pretty damned good itself. That's the best module in my opinion. As a stand alone with a boost. Done.

Just get the DSL. Green channel with crunch or lead 1 are easily gonna match MTS and be CHEAPER in the long run.

Problem is Randall is a really good deal. We're talking under $900AUD for head and cab w/v30s & 75s. DSL is about that much by itself.

Still got 2 MTS in my amp arsenal. The RM100 was great for getting different tones, and the RM50 combo was convenient for band practice and jams without lugging a big rig.
they're great for what they are: being able to get a lot of different tones with the modules.
I got some good modded modules but in the end, my 5153 blows all the MTS out of the water. That's why i'm going to put them up for sale.

I'd love to hear some sound comparisons of the 5153 blowing the MTS out of the water.

I believe MTS is the perfect setup for anyone needing more than the one good tone that most amps will do. MTS can get a person close to any good tone and then the fingers can do the rest of the work.
