Just plunked $$$ down at GC, going to pick up Friday. Played in the room for about an hour along with a used jcm800 and a Mk5 and the clarity and chime of this amp is right up my alley! I used a Mesa v30 2x12 and my LPC and the clean channel had WAY more headroom than I was expecting from a 30 watt head. Tons of punch as well. Dirty channel has way more gain than I will ever use but I loved the lower gain settings as they where clear and articulate. This amp has lower wattage options as well. You can run two power tubes and then cut that output in half or run all four power tubes at full or half output as well. Those two switches in different configurations really opened up the tone pallet and produced quite a few usable tones. Nice thing I noticed was even with two tubes running the punch was still there in spades. The tone shaping is interesting as the tone pots work very differently from anything I have fooled with before. More to come after some more tweaking. Looking forward to hearing the clean channel with some dirt up front. I will attempt some clips but I warn I really stink at recording.
