Hey, do you get a useable clean out of the Ares? I thought I saw a YT vid of the amp doing clean AND dirty.

It's tough, but I do. You have to run Master 1 with the Crunch switch off, then dial the gain down. Using your guitar's volume knob helps. I also have coil split, so that helps too. But there is no actual clean channel on the Ares.

It's similar in a way to having a two ch. amp that shares the tone stack, right?

Yeah, kinda. But both channels are the same.
