Pawn shops man. Seriously.
I’ve gotten great gear out of pawn stores in japan.
I had co workers and friends back in the 90s.
No such thing as google or cell phones back then.

But I did see a wall of Fender Custom shops come crashing down and it was a painful sight...so glad it wasn't me that did it!
