I would cut my throat with a butter knife before listening to jazz…. Or steely dan…
You didn't check out the Lenny Breau/Tal Farlow clip? I would think any guitar appreciator could appreciate that. I like improvisation and and music that swings. A lesson I learnt a some years ago from some other guys and from just generally getting out there and playing: Swing feel is core to any great music and to great rhythm. Phil Rudd of AC/DC is an example of a rock drummer with a killer swinging feel to his grooves. My favorite stuff in any guitar related genre is always syncopated and always swings. Plus jazz has some great melodies and can be very intense unless we are talking about elevator jazz, cocktail stuff, or mannheim steamroller lol. The modern stereotype of jazz is mostly smooth jazz stuff or syrupy RnB sex music for the sunset cruise on your yacht repackaged for sale within the jazz genre, like Sade or something.

Sean Kinney is a fine example as well.

I will check it out….

He was about as rational at TGP too. If his multitude of threads weren’t getting comments, he’d complain about it. I believe his favorite thing was to purposely post in the wrong sub-forum constantly, then repeatedly mention being told about it.

:loco:
He’s a Grade A dipshit, no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
If you need an invite; Get The Fuck Out.

I’m going to hit the dispensary this week sometime….just to check it out. I want to try some potent indica edibles….would love to have some of that old hishhash we used to fuck with back in the day though…that shit would have you walking in the spirit world…first time I ever used it I saw a flying fuck….them shits is real yo….
Hash was the only smoke to be found in Germany in the 70s. Between that and acid, I survived for a year.

I did a lot of acid way back when acid was actually LSD. Rainbow family, dead supplied shit. My roomate used to sell it so we always had it.

I feel very lucky to have been turned on to Sgt. Peppers and A Night at The Opera for the first time while tripping my balls off. I will forever be in debt to a dude named Walter for that.

Cool, that’s the way to do it.
I’m amazed I came back to acid: my first experience was when some dickweed slipped a hit in my beer, before I had even tried pot. Spent the next couple hours practically going crazy while he fucked with my head, only thing that saved me was my younger brother talking me down.
Not surprising, the dickweed got beat within an inch of his life later on (it wasn’t me) and disappeared.

I put the prick on ignore.
I Dont want this site going back to the Donnie days.

Need to keep it somewhat mature
I don't think it is accurate to say the reps kept the borders tight. Neither party was really very concerned about tightening the border - the Dems want the immigrant vote and the reps wanted cheap labor for their rich buddies. It wasn't until the reps realized they must kowtow to Trump that they pushed for closing the border.

I hate both parties equally and I hate Trump and Biden equally. I'll be casting a write in ballot for the pimple on my left buttock if it is still there in November. But I have never seen such entertaining television in my life as seeing Trump destroy Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Hillary Clinton in the debates of 2016. He destroyed all of the reps running in 2016 and then proceeded to destroy Bill and Hillary.
