Hey all!
I own an Artec SE-PEQ wich offers -10/+10 db single band. What I want is extra 5db of boost/cut. Can’t find actual schematic but I know parametric eq’s with q is not simplest circuits.
Are any of you who familiar with electronics can say how hard to modifity parametric cirquit to got extra band gain? I mean is it mod like swap pot and couple of resistors or it’s more like rebuild entire pedal?
Thanks!

Most likely that pedal uses all SMD, it's not going to be easy to modify

Could try a clean boost after the PEQ pedal to get a few more decibels of output. Obviously not ideal (requires yet another pedal), but should do the trick.

I need extra band boost. Not full range. That’s the trick

If the clean boost is after the PEQ, would it not just boost its input signal, which would be only the band boost from the PEQ?

Nope. It’s true for bandpass filters wich has reject zones all the way up and down the frequency range

This question might be better in the tech sub forum….
