Pedal for Marshall DSL 50 in clean channel

If I was gonna run a distortion/overdrive pedal in my clean channel of my Marshall DSL 50 what would you guys suggest? I'm looking for a pedal that does a great traditional plexi to pissed off Alice in Chains type stuff. Recomend me some ideas. Thanks

Good old DS-1 sounds pretty damn good through a DSL

Yeah running in the clean channel and depending solely on the pedals gain I'm sure the wampler especially would kill!

i dont use pedals much but i tried a boss blues driver once that sounded pretty good on its own. you might be able to use it as a boost too.

I use a BSIAB2 that sounds pretty badass through my DSL. I've also tried the Dano Cool Cat Drive pedal, and it sounded surprisingly goo.

I run a Suhr koko boost into mine on the gain channel without the ultra gain engaged and it sounds incredible!
