guys I went and did some mixing today with the legend, Bob Clearmountain- he really did a killer mix on a song called "Big Mistake"... I'm stoked! He's mixed everything from The Stones to Bowie to The Who to... you get the picture. Going to do 2 more tracks with him. I put up a new blog post here about it:

I think I may have him mix "Perplexed", but it's a tough decision! There's others that I could do as well, hmmmmmmm

Dudes, I'm all done mixing, having the album mastered next week and working on artwork now. It'll be out very soon! Can't wait for y'all to hear it!

Very tasteful playing! Reminds me of a Steve Morse-influenced track, with just a twist of Andy Timmons throw in....but, all original and fresh! I really get the feeling that you LOVE playing thru the Suhr SL68,...sounds amazing! Lookin' foward to the release! :thumbsup:

I'm using a Mesa 1 12" Theile cab in a closet with an SM57 / Senn 421 mic combo, and getting better recorded tones out of it than anything else I've tried in the past.

Being able to track reasonably through monitors w/o using earphones is a godsend.

This track sounds wonderful Pete!
 
Pete, you done us proud, thanks bro, for sharing and making it look so easy, even thought it isn't, but thats the true sign of an artist. then again, maybe some of us are over-complicating ourselves right outta the game.
