Guy can really bust a move on the gutiar.
You're mad at blues-rock guys, lol. Without the long hair he normally has he kind looked like Jimmy Fallon bleached his hair and got a PRS and started playing Jimi stuff.I cannot watch this guy. The faces ruin it for me.

Paging @DanTravis62 would a normal strat headstock with a tuner look better than that silver sky without the tuner? Asking for a friend.![]()
He's like Walter Trout. They play everything they know before the singing starts.I can't do the three a side HS with a strat
I'm surprised at all the love for his playing on this, he's not exactly showing a ton of range

He qualifies as blues?I know @VonBonfire and the blues guys don't want to hear this, but all I can see here is Philip Sayce literally playing the same 5 licks Kirk Hammett plays on Kill Em All, just slower and making faces
He qualifies as blues?
He's recorded and toured with some big names and done pretty well on his own but he's def not a blues guy in my mind. I guess I have strong distinctions between blues and blues-rock and don't see the two as very similar other than some shared improvised lines.Who is he?
Kirk Hammetts licks on Kill em all certainly are blues licks, just fast
I have no idea about Philip Sayce, this is the first time i've heard him, and I don't know if he's a legit blues guy or not, I'm just saying he's playing the same licks as Kirk Hammett does on Kill Em All
More like the canadian version of Joe BossaNova. So, the food stamps version of Joe BossaNova?
