I really like GMW for the fact that they are a high end custom shop with a big gallery of Dan Lawrence finishes

My next purchase

Tom Anderson Pickups and wiring are setup so the when running full humbucker mode the pickup sees a 500k pot, when running split or single coil, he cuts the resistance of the pot to 250k.

If I'm picking one I'd probably go with Anderson, if only because I don't think many are getting made, if any anymore. Nothing against Suhr whatsoever, this is completely an investor side opinion.

So are Suhr's.

You can't go wrong with either one, IMO.

I think the biggest thing setting them apart is that a) TAG has more varied body styles and b) you can get a new Suhr Pro for well under 2 g's.

Beyond that, pick the one that you dig the most and don't look back...

Had both, sold the Anderson, ordered multiple Suhrs.

Both great guitars, I just love Suhrs available options.

I'm waiting for the honeymoon period to pass before I give my review, but here's what UPS brought me today...

Check out Atlas guitars. Hand made and just as good quality for half the price. I have played all of them and now own 3 Atlas's.

where can you buy these guitars and HOW MUCH do they go for?? just saw their website and I like the Deluxe 2 (tobaco sunburst) :inlove:

how are their pickups and electronics?

I have played both and preferred the suhr. Both are very sweet guitars.

The electronics are great. They make thier own pickups called R-supersonic. The pups are hand made and hand wound. Im not giving any sales pitch here but I just an extra set of pups from them. If anyone is interested I would sell them for $80 shipped for the set. They sold them to me for cost.

I have owned over 300 guitars, and my 1996 Trans Green Anderson Hollow Classic Strat-style is the best playing, richest sounding single coil guitar I have ever played. Suhr is a fantastic builder. At this level of craftsmanship, there is no "better" in my opinion; only personal preference.

I like them both and think they are the best guitars if youre going for the"strat on steriods" type guitar...I dont understand why Tom wont do a 24 frt.drop top.Suhr does on his and it doesnt seem to mess w/ the tone at all...Ive dropped 3,600.00 on a masterbuilt strat before;now I'll go the tom a or suhr route.
