So, I am working near Nasvhille for the next couple weeks and Monday night a coworker and myself went to Guitar Center...

Well, the normal Platinum Room dude wasnt there, but I was wanting to check out the different Pete Thorn sigs, to see the neck difference on them, and the me and the sales guy started talking about the difference between Suhrs and Anderson guitars.. so He goes up and grabs one of the Angles and puts it in my hands and just leaves the room for like 20 mins... comes back, with a stand then snags onf of the Suhr moderns and I start trying to compare the two, but there was something about the Anderson.. it was a short scale 24 fret, which I have never held one before but... the damn thing was almost playing itself, I tried a couple of different Suhrs and really liked them, but that Anderson.. even though I did not like the neck carve.. everything else about the guitar was just... amazing.. I guess Its time to dig through the gear and see what hasnt been used in a while and start raising funds... I think this is going to turn out to be a pretty costly mistake.

Seems like you have doubts. You are in Nashville, a lot of good guitars in the place. Take your time, find what suits you.

Andersons are awesome.

Also they have a ton of neck carves available if you ever want to build one. They have a handful of neck shapes to choose from and within each shape you have a bunch of different thicknesses you can pick from. I'm used to a PRS Custom 22 Wide Fat neck so when I built one, I went with an Even C neck with a +.030 taper and love the thing.

What I'm saying is that if you don't love the neck on the guitar you tried, think about going all the way and speccing one out to make it a lifer. They're certainly good enough guitars to make the decision to do that.

I struggled to put it down, I really want to try more now.
I am not actually looking for a guitar to buy is where my problem lies...
Maybe you can put me in touch with some loved ones so we can get you the help you need bro.

Just pretend like the Anderson you are about to buy has a broken headstock and LRC is the only game in town to fix it.

A local store in my college town used to carry a lot of them. I never did get to play one as they were out of my comfortable price range. They swore by them and said you wouldn't want to go back to a Strat after playing one.

They are vastly superior to a US strat

And I love us strats 😂

It just is what it is
