Should I install a Duncan distortion or an og parallel axis in the bridge of my prs. The 59 in there (while nice) just isn’t mean enough…. I’m leaning towards the axis….

I never tried that Parallel Axis. Do that and tell me about it.

Never tried a parallel axis. The Duncan distortion is one mean, aggressive sounding pickup though. I love them.

Mission accomplished. Axis installed and it worked! Definitely higher output than the 59 with more hair…. I will report back when I get a chance to spend some time with it.

Initially tone wise kinda similar but maybe more high end than the 59….

The PA was one Duncan I was always curious about but never pulled the trigger. DD is one of my all-time favorites. I'll be interested what you think about the PA after you've had a chance to live with it for a while. A hotter 59 sounds like a good thing to me.
