Neck pickup suggestions

I like to match the neck with what I use in the bridge for a tone shift by the selector switch only.

I recommend a router. Then you can install a real humbucket as God intended.....or something like that.

Might not be any help to you, but I do like an old EMG S in the neck-position.

Not a huge deal if every pole doesn't line up.
I just hacked a single into a hum spot.. They all don't line up and the world still turns..
When you pick, the string is wagging all over the place anyways. I doubt you would ever hear a difference.
