Pickup recommendations for a GL256?

Picked this up the other day on an impulse buy. I want to upgrade the pickups and and would like opinions/ideas for the bridge pu primarily. Not wanting an over the top fire breather….thinking something that can cover classic rock and 80s metal. I have a BKP Crawler in an Edwards LP that does that type of thing but BKPs seem to be hit or miss depending on the guitar they’re in. Anybody have a Tonenerd a whiskey for sale …

Yeah, this or a TB-5. The JB is a love/hate pickup, but might actually do well in it.
