Played an ESP Eclipse with EMGs today. Wow!!

Went into a Mom and Pop store and they had an ESP Eclipse with EMGs so I decided to fire it up. Plugged into a Blackstar HT40 (nice amp too!) and sounded great! I think it has been awhile since I've played a guitar with EMGs because I forgot about how tight the riffs can be and how percussive riffs sound.

If I hadn't bought another guitar just a few weeks ago, I probably would have walked out with that sucker.

Theres a beautiful ESP Custom Shop Eclipse already loaded with EMG HetSet on reverb...might wanna give that a shot

Yep, after not hearing them for a while, they sound all that and a box of candy. Then after a couple of weeks I'm done with it and go back to passives...but I keep my EMG's handy for the "every few year cycle".
