You guys are friggin' killing me!
I have GAS for a Charvel So Cal soooooooo bad.

Keep the pics coming.
Hey man...I have a Plum SoCal that I'm willing to let go for $600 plus shipping if you're interested...

I totally appreciate the offer. I'm going to be at least three or four months out from buying anything though. That's what makes the GAS hurt so much. :aww: My wife seems to think the kids need Christmas presents... :D

That and the added GAS of wanting a Carvin V3M. Decisions!

By the way, did you ever come across any brass pickup rings and jack plate?

Those have both been tough to find. I'll let you know when/if he makes a batch of those.

You can check out Dave on Frets On The Net
Scroll down for Brass Pickup Rings: http://www.fretsonthenet.com/Pickup_Rings.htm
Scroll down for Brass jack plate: http://www.fretsonthenet.com/hardware.htm

He'll do a nice job, but it'll be pretty pricey :)

Chubtone and Vultures,
Thanks for the info.

I'm not a huge fan of that color but I really like what you've done with it. Is that a Promod?

These are all I have left:
DSC01303.jpg

The bullseye is a prepro mutt...'78 body (old refin) w/ an early 80's neck. One of my best playing/sounding guitars.
The red one is all old Dimarzio parts (body made by Charvel).

Hey guys with your charvels with direct mounted pups.. how low do you have your string height? I feel my action could come down a tad but then the pickups will be awfully close to the strings.

anyone want to trade my wildcard #5 for a maple board charvel?

Here's my Fusion Custom. It has a Dimarzio Double Whammy in the bridge
that I was gonna switch it out, but I like it so much that it's stays...

And some history. Charvel advertisement 1981:

Wow, does this bring back some memories! I think this ad was in the single copy of a "International Musician" magazine that I got about a year before I started playing when I was in the 7th grade. I thought that pink bullseye guitar was awesome after reading that EVH used Charvel parts for his axe.
