So BIAS has tone sharing now? Been using Jamup Pro xt and pretty happy with it, too lazy to build from scratch like BIAS. Might have to look at it again though if there is tone sharing now :)

yup. little tone cloud icon. lots of user amps being shared

Great tune and playing!

How do you minimize the lag?

I have the irig, line 6 and apogee interfaces, but I just can't get used to the latency.

thanks man! I had no problem with latency, yes just a tiny tiny bit but nothing serious really!

Rocco's playing is tastier than a nut is to a squirrel! Great tones... it does look like a great alternative for direct tones. Ballsy for anyone to base there entire live rig on but hey, it would probably kill.

Is his an app you use for guitar tones into an interface then into a MAC using something like Logic?

I have all that stuff. Do I download the app on my iPad then use it for tones?

It runs guitar>interface>iPad>app>headphones, monitors etc...

There's also an 8 track recorder in the app you can use for scratch tracks, and then if you use Audiobus (different app) you can record direct into Garageband....alternatively you can send the scratch tracks to your computer via email and then load it into your DAW for mixing.

i bought it , its awesome. every guitarist should have it. period.

Agreed.....it's amazing in and of itself, let alone as an APP...got a buddy that's an amp guru, and he's built a few amps in BIAS and uploaded them.....Marshalls that actually sound WARM....it's crazy.

Can I just use bias and my iPad to gig?

Jeff, you need to either run it to FOH or into a powered speaker or into a poweramp/cab setup, but yeah, you can. Lot of guys already are....there's a Bluetooth floorboard that lets you switch patches/effects on and off too.

Once in installed Bias, i was able to record into GarageBand right away. No extra apps needed

absolutely! I know some people over at Sevenstring.org who replaced their whole rig and just use BIAS now!

This is simply amazing! What a great job you did on the tune and such tasteful playing!

I'm grabbing this app and running with it. I will work for a few gigs where I don't need to bring my practice amp with me and can plug directly into the house.

So cool!

Many thanks for sharing your talents!

:)

Decided today as I use bias with a power amp that the headphone out converter is not good enough.

I'm pretty sure I'll be replacing my apogee jam with an apogee One which also has it's own d/a output converter.

Bias is seriously awesome. Considering a matrix gm50 to go with it.

Yeah. Gotta get a good interface. My iRig is noisy and does weird things. Still sounds awesome though with very little, if any, latency when latency is set to low.

It's not that the jam isn't great, it is.

It's just that I'm also coming back out of the ipad and that built in headphone converter pales in comparison.

Oh and the one also charges while you use it so no fear of battery dying.

Thx for this oh-so-often forgotten reminder. I was going to get an interface that worked with the headphone out but realizing that I may need to use it live at some point has me looking at either a Line6 Sonic port or the Apogee One.

What about the Alesis i/o Dock - wouldn't that be an awesome interface for Bias?
