My Father gave me this one in 1969....
Whoa.
:worship:
Here is the amp that came with it .... single EL84 .... The volume only increases distortion / changes the dB's very little.

Got back from Desert Storm/Shield in March 1991 and a few days later went and ordered this whale blue 10 top 1991 PRS Cu 24..picked it up in June of that year. Its got some battle scars but its all original and sounds great..IMO better than when it was new. Heres a pic:

Since 2004. This one has been thru every living hell I could put it thru, girlfriends , bands, bar fights, beer bottles, craziness of all kinds of loud rocknroll nights.. started its life as a 68 reissue CIJ strat. neck was sanded and refretted by a custom shop friend of mine, then just last year. boom. new 1984 RI Floyd, Aftermath BKP bridge. and a NEW luxxtone neck. A big FAT one. reverseheadstock. this guitar is totally tricked out and feels worn in and nice. Frankenstrat.

I really like the way that thing looks.

1986 Jackson

I was lucky enough to have an understanding father. Ordered as a Charvel, but that's when Grover Jackson decided to put his own name on his guitars. Custom made to my specs, and it still plays like a dream.

I've only had it for about a year and a half... But I don't plan on it going anywhere anytime soon. It's my Gibson Custom Joe Bonamassa LP. It has Burstbucker 2 & 3 pickups and a '59 neck. The fretboard is much darker than it appears in the picture, for whatever reason. It's weight relieved (8.9 lbs) and has a resonance similar to my 335. Here's a pic of Joe demoing it last year. He said I got a good one. I better have for the price I paid!

Damn guys! Some gorgeous looking guitars we have here! Especially jealous of the PRS'. Had an offer from a friend of mine for a Custom 22 at only $1,500. Skipped because I sent my amp to Dave :(.

Purchased new in early 90s and has been a go to ever since. Loaded with BKP RRs, and tapped. Beautiful player

First guitar I bought was a used Epiphone ET 270N in 1978. Someone put some Klusons on it, and I put some DiMarzio Super Distortions in it. How I still have it baffles me.

I bought this in 1988. It was my main and only guitar until about 1995 where it was slowly robbed of parts for other projects. A couple of years ago I did a relic job on it and recently pulled the neck off my frankenstein and put it on this. Happy to report it's my main guitar again

1968 Les Paul Custom...I bought it the summer of 1975 for $475 from Betnun Music in Hollywood.

December 75 gig. Behind me to the left is the 1st year solid state Marshall head on a 4x12.

My first "real" guitar, an 89 RG570. One of my friends played in this band called "Clay People" and were locally big in my area. He used this guitar more as a prop to throw around and bang on stage. It was completely trashed, so he gave it to me after one of his shows. I sanded the finish down to wood, and stained it. It sat in my closet for about 15 years while I was taking a break from guitar. About 7 years ago, a friend offered to re-finish it for me, so I let him go to town. Maple cap, binding, fretjob, and burst paint. I put some zebra BK MM pups in it, and it sounds killer, it's a guitar I will never sell.

I was a PRS die-hard junkie for many, many years – mainly CE-24 wide-thin customs. Then I was introduced to the Quick Silver Roman. The QS makes all PRS shutter and weep with inferiority and little if no hope in sight. My CQS’ play almost on its own.

I have 2 CQS’, one going on 11+ years now and it ain’t going anywhere. . .

Mines a Jackson PS-4...Its been through hell and back, had some actives put it, replaced bridge, been smashed with a ding on back of the neck but its still kicking and is my main guitar...Sounds so good.

Bought this in 1986. 1985 Kramer Baretta. This was my first good guitar and my main guitar out of two(1989 I bought a Charvel) until 1995. Played the hell out of this thing. Had it refretted in 1989. It looks like hell because on our way to a show in 1994, we had our gear in the back of the truck tied down with rope and the rope decided to break while on the freeway. Only my guitar flew out and was run over. Case was destroyed but the guitar didn't die. The neck broke off but only because the screws stripped out and the volume knob was pushed down through the body. About a week later I put the neck back on and filled the area around the volume knob with Bondo. I sanded the guitar and spray painted it with some spray can black lacquer. I still played that guitar after that. About 11 years ago I took it apart thinking I was going to sand off all of the finish and have it painted. I applied a stripper and sanded the hell out of it and ended up with a big time fail.  Been in this condition ever since.
