You need to experiment with the mic placement. If you’re playing through that Mesa way to the right, that kinda explains it. You need to place it where it sounds best to your ears. I usually place the mic slightly above and to the side of the cabinet

Thanks. That was the Mesa PLUS the SS100 which was right in front of the mic. Two 4x12, not blasting volume but a good fun volume.
 
Bob Gjika is God "KSOFM" when it comes to phone clips.
