Hi,
Berni recommended to ask here.

I have a very simple rack setup and just picked up a Furman PL8 Series II Power conditioner.
Before I got it I ran everthing at a normal multiplug and did not have any hum.
No I installed it and get hum even on the clean channel.

My Signal Chain looks like this:
Guitar -> wha (powered by pedal power 2+) -> isp decimator pro rack G input
-> Diezel Herbert input -> Loop send to decimator channel 2
-> decimator channel 2 output to MXR 10 band eq -> back to herbert return.

I did not had any issues with hum before. Some people say it might be the decimator,
but why should there be no problems before when pluggin in all into the same multiplug?

Help from the pros here would be cool, thanks for reading

Was the other outlet box screwed into the rack? pull the furman out and plug the stuff in and see if you have the hum.

If the other outlet box means the other normal multiplug, then no.
The normal multiplug was lying next to the rack system on the ground.

Sorry for my bad english...

Well it is because the furman is touching the rail causing a ground loop with something else.

Thank you very much! It is cool to get tipps from a pro here

I will try this out at Monday evening and report how it worked out.

You got it!

I will buy some Adam Hall Humfrees - that should solve the problem

Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate this!
