Incorrect assessment mate, although I know you were joking, right? My statement was a direct response to a claim that facts / science doesn't lead to conversion. It does.
As I said, it can be used as a tool to get people to reassess their positions / look into it. I've seen it happen. It's happened for countless others. Every journey has to start somewhere. Taking that first step, yada yada. The ground doesn't necessarily have to be "stony".
For many, of course, it's a revelatory experience that either kicks things off or tips them over-the-edge, so to speak.
There are many paths to the truth, but only one destination, one might say.

Being "lead to conversion" by facts and "are converted" by facts are separate so yes, we now agree, lol. Western conversion usually implies someone using "saved" past tense language. In contrast it is a process in eastern orthodoxy not a singular "aha" moment that secures our spot along the narrow way. Once I find the path, there is the matter of treading it. If it is not difficult to tread, then I am likely on a different pathway. Narrow is the way.
