@NowYou'rePlayingWithPower the one member I told my name and location says they didn't share that it with you. Japetus made clear mods are not involved. If you are claiming anyone is lying then prove it. Should be easy. Just name the member you are accusing of lying. You've hinted it was @VonBonfire , is that who you are going with?
 
As for your threats of interference with members personal lives, you did that in this very thread by threatening to contact VBF's wife and foment a divorce. You have claimed that he is a thief, predator and doesn't even play guitar. Who knows if you have harmed his earning potential or reputation. Honestly you should hope that his identity remains private or you could have a defamation suit on your hands, although knowing him probably all he'd ask is that you just apologize and cease further harassment.
 
Its also not someone else's job to share identities with others, without the users knowledge. That is a permanent ban, if I read the rules correctly.

If someone who owns another forum shared my private data, which is not there, from their DB, that is very much illegal.

Especially considering I can do all sorts with that. Especially when I asked them to delete all my data...and they refused. Conveniently, won't answer my email.

Privacy is a right. Full stop.
 
If it were legally possible, I could only imagine the flurry of defamation lawsuits coming out of facebook groups for shit people said on the internet.

People can sue anyone for anything. Whether they are successful is another matter. Either way it is time, cost and stress that most people would just as soon avoid. My understanding is that if someone is defamed and it harms their reputation or earning power then they have a case and it probably not be summarily dismissed. Likewise with the cyber harassment, which also veers into criminal liability.
