Some say Christ quotes from it, others say he alludes to passages in it, so I edited my post. It's a good book, ancient, and worth a read for any Christian, as is the Septuagint which is included in orthodox and catholic bibles but not protestant ones.
And when the Nephlim came, and found the women of Gods creation beautiful. And they had sons and daughters. But God saw them as an abomination. Many people do not see how that ties into the flood and Noah...but they is another story..

They were not Gods, they were imperfect beings trying to become God. They fell short and in their arrogance met their fate.
Yes agree, but both Greek paganism and the scriptures/Enoch teach that they brought technological knowledge to men. Often in exchange for worship which is the classic deal with the devil.

All men will fall short of the true grace, nature and knowledge of God. He reveals Himself to us in fruitful ways.

So this is the last time we will speak then because you are going to turn off your computer and shun it because it's technology. Write to me if you need help with your next barn raising.

I was really interested in the book of Enoch at one point. Honestly I don't understand why it's not in the canon. It struck me as way more 'Christian' than any of the hebrew scriptures.

The protestants took the entire septuagint out and then used newer masoretic texts for their translation so good luck with your sola scriptura crap.
You're still using your computer. That's persistant sin mate. Shun technology remember.

Even Ezekiel was almost not included cause the mystical content causes some heads to explode. Imagine if thumbpicker read Enoch, it'd be his last day as an accountant.

He might want to actually read it before he criticizes it anyways. Par for the course on flat earth 🤷‍♂️
