Sorry dudes, I'm not letting this fucker get away again. I'm not going to negotiate with the dude and risk some asshole coming in and cock-blocking me on this one. I paid him what he wanted and it is now SOLD! :)

I look forward to hearing it and owning my second Cameron and both hand-built and one-offs from scratch, not MODDED, nor production units! :)

  There you go! After the last CCV saga, I'm glad you got the amp you were after.

@scriptphase - Thanks brother. Looking forward to it and playing one (a CCV) hands-on.

The non-Brad original CCV proto has popped up for sale a few times as well. I almost bought it. That's the one in the youtube videos with Mark playing that everyone loves.

Wow... Last year I could have bought this amp for 2000.00 off of a member on rt... That's a high price!!

Didnt Steve K own this at one point? Pretty sure I remember that?

What's up, John? :D

Dude...that one used to be mine, and I'd be very surprised if the guy who bought it had it up for sale; do you have a link, by any chance?

I remember how you got that amp Josh. Cool tale.

What's up, Mark! Hope all is well.

Yeah man, that was one bizarre day.

Almost time to hang out and drink beer at the amp show. :D

"Last year I could have bought this amp for 2000.00 off of a member on rt" Then you should have bought it.

In summary, this is the handbuilt amp by Mark with his choices of transformers and part and his signature and writing on the chassis. It was the basis for the production model. When Mark was done with this, it went to the place that made the production models and they were supposed to build it to this one's spec. The amp was owned by Brad King and yes looking through the threads sold to Steve K. I'm not sure who else owned it, but somehow it got back to Brad unless he was selling on consignment because reverb has the listing from 11 months go (he may have needed the money for legal bills). The guy I bought it from has it since and I didn't care about the price, I wanted it and to check it out. It also comes with the ATA flight case as was bought off Brad (the posting said Brad had it retubed and biased also). This is the prototype #1. This is the holy grail! Sorry you guys missed out. There was 167 views within 24 hours when I bought it, so there must be some interest and people kicking themselves in the ass. I look forward to playing it and checking one out hand-on, on-site....finally. If interested should I ever sell it, just PM me so I can put you on the list.

Having a good paying job and money...does NOT suck!

Hey Josh! I didn't mean recently. I know you had it and did Brad also have it at one point? I hope things are going well with you!

This is my real Schmidt/Cameron era CCV. The real HOLY GRAIL!. :D Was built way before the Brad prototype stuff...

Well, I hope you enjoy your CCV. I have one from the first Brad run, got it from Brad and it's been a great amp. Not sure why anyone would bring in negativity to your NAD. As far as these amps go, I think you have to buy what's available if you want one. There's not many from which to choose.

All well here, my friend; hope the same for you!

No, Brad never owned the real CCV proto (NAMM vid's).

The only time he ever heard it, was when I brought it down to TM one day.

Great amp, for sure.

I'm curious Josh if you can comment on the real proto. Was it easy to dial in that same tone that Mark had in that youtube vid that everyone raved about, or was that just a matter of that amp on that day with Mark at the helm? Always wondered. Never heard another vid of the CCV sound like like.

so, the amp superuknown has posted is what people are posting as the 'real' prototype?

Looks like a real cool amp.

Congrats. :)

What happens if the amp needs servicing? Is Mark available for that?
