Looks like a real cool amp.

Congrats. :)

What happens if the amp needs servicing? Is Mark available for that?

I think Friedman would service the amp.

Congrats on the CCV proto!!

If Friedman was the one assembling these he obviously knows the specs. Wonder why he hasn't put them into production himself?

so, the amp superuknown has posted is what people are posting as the 'real' prototype?

No, this is the original

@gtrwun-

Honestly, it was a combination of all the things you mention.

Ripping amp, for sure, and definitely had a different vibe from most (but not all) of the other CCVs I've owned or played.

Every amp Mark did for me after that, was in that same vein; he knew exactly what I dug about his amps (and what I didn't) and really built some great amps for me, over the years. Tremendously talented guy, as a player, and modder/builder.

And you forgot to mention he has a Pair of Legs that just wont quit...

That was mine, I sold it back to Brad with the ATA case.

That amp is killer and there was tons of interest when I tried to sell it, just no one with any cash at that moment but lots of free time to kick tires and tell you why it sucks, lol.

You'll love the amp. It's a monster.

It has to be the same as all the other brad era CCV's....They were all made like this one.....They just look much better :D I have had the smith era CCV and heard a few more back to back....And i liked the Brad era ones a bit more....IMO....They all had more gain and the tone was the same....Also i can get the same tone as the so called #1 proto Smith era CCV...

4k? Meh...pass
  Ya thats what i was trying to say.....4000.00 for that amp is way too high of a price.....The guy who sold it cashed in big time.....I have never seen a Cameron CCV go for that price at all....Oh well.....Hope he likes it

Hey, you fucks making fun of what he paid for the amp are ultra immature douches. I got news for ya, $4,000 ain't shit to some people. It's one thing to think it to yourself, but don't spew negativity on his NAD. Should be obvious!

Ya think??? Listen, if I have that kind of money to spend in a heartbeat, I don't really care about the price! Just a bunch of babies spouting off because they missed out, nothing more. The amp went for $3500 new and a flight case is what $400? So it's really about the price of them new. Being this is #1 and 1 of the 2 protos and 1 of what 50, it's rare and they do not come up often for sale. Likewise, this was built ENTIRELY by Mark. If you read the postings back from then and 2011, this amp went to the fabricator which made the production units, NOT by Mark's! This is special, may sound different and better, done right, and a rarity!

The folks that said they had a myriad of them (CCVs)...AND THIS ONE and it rips...that's all I or anyone needs to know. The rest is B.S. whiney little babies.

@ripleyripley - Thanks for confirming your ownership and that it does rip.

@Superunknown - I see yours doesn't have the red bells in it on the iron. (just noting). I like the fan thou! :)

glad you are happy with the purchase - i think its sort of funny how keen you seemingly are to make it clear just how special it is, how you got it and nobody else did...and, oh, how you make a lot of money :)

Ehhh...I sold a couple at 4k....one or two for a bit more....

It's what worth someone is willing to pay, and if dude doesn't have the opportunity to get another one, I absolutely can see paying up; hope he loves it!

Congrats OP.

I remember how you got that amp Josh. Cool tale.

What's up, Mark! Hope all is well.

Yeah man, that was one bizarre day.

Almost time to hang out and drink beer at the amp show. :D

I am ready to tailgate with some brews. I will be taking my boy Jimmy Ray.

Yep, yep, and yep!

Thanks guys, looking forward to it...actually so much, I can't sleep! lol

Interesting to know some others have sold and for even more $$$.

There was one just before this that was for sale that Mark alledgedly did late last year and it had to go for about the same cost and without the flight case as it was listed for $3000 starting bid and the seller would have had to pay eBay 10% or $300 in fees for closing the auction early, so it had to be upward of $3,300 just for the amps to "rockinchippy" here at RT! - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mark-Cameron-CC ... true&rt=nc

I think that's why I like that Custom CCV (chrome face plates) I got from you so much. It sounds way more like that video than any other CCV I've owned. That video always blows me away.

Congrats! Yup, anything is worth as much as you can get for it. Look at the Mark IIC+....some of those go for 4K or more. And they don't sit for long. CCVs are pretty rare so to get one at 2K? Damn I must have been sleeping!! Anyway looking forward to hearing clips if you can post them. They sound mean...I seem to prefer his modded Marshall clips best..I've had 4 Cameron Aldrich's and they've all been great. The man knows how to create an amazing amp!
