The current rig is so nicely wired up and custom designed I would have a hard time taking it apart to try this unit out...
I am just looking at recording purposes right now, hopefully it sounds good for recording. if not im screwed.

I had a Standard when they first came out. Sold it to Jamie. I wouldn't have went out and had a full on gig with it, but it is really sweet for an acoustic, unplugged sort of thing. Did several of those straight into FOH. People have to do a double take to see if you are playing an electric or acoustic. I mostly used it in the cave though, going straight into some 30 watt powered M-Audio monitors. When you don't feel like get other shit out or want to play through some phones, flip a switch, roll the dial and plug in.

Gonna go make some big noise with the real Bogs now.

You know, funny story - TRUE story - so I had my laptop up and running all its usual shit yesterday and one of the screens was Fractal and a couple other sites on the Axe and the Ultra and stuff, and my wife saunters over and says "what's that? you gonna buy that?". So explain to her it's this thing that I really didn't want to 'like' but it's seemingly gaining a lot of popularity for being the 'do-it-all' tool of today and she says "aw ya, didn't you say that Dweezil was using those lately and his sound sucked live??", and I'm like "ya, that's right....". And she says, "so it's that whole solid state, processor, emulator thingy eh??". And I'm like "YAA, Baby, that's right, it's loaded with all these amps and sims and shit...". And she says "fuck that, you want the real thing baby, HOT tubes, screaming, THE POUND, if ya buy this ya may as well buy a fuckin' iPhone as well and just become like everyone else. C'mon sweetheart, you know you can't beat the real deal - at least not with what [you've got] in that room of yours...".

Kinda funny. Man, I love my wife
