The place I ordered from doesn't even list the winged c's now. Even eBay stores jacked up the prices. I hope my order gets filled

Just make the switch to Ruby EL34BHT they are ALMOST as good and what Peter Diezel prefers even over the Winged C's in his new amps. $180 a quad is ridiculous and I hope none of you guys buy any at that price.

Everyone's SOLD OUT @ the old price, no way I'll pay the new price for tubes. Need to take a look at the Ruby's.

I snagged one more set this morning for $117 shipped, so that should hold me for some time. Most places I am seeing now are $140-$150 for a quad.

BHT's are shuguangs too
how do they sound compared to the BSTR's?
I've done some comparisons with the winged C's and BSTR's
I like the fuzzy warmth of the BSTR's, but the winged C's sound deeper and more in-your-face
are the rubys tested? I had 3 faulty shuguangs out of 8, but those weren't rebranded or tested
not sure if they were still worth what I paid for each quad ($50 free shipped from china)

On a slight side note, I bought a quad from Rainbow guitars, and when they arrived, one of the getters had broken loose. I called, and the guys at Rainbow sent me another complete quad instead of a single, and then told me to keep the good three as spares.
How is that for kick ass.
