Does that one have the tight, medium, loose switch? If so, set it to loose. Try cranking the master volume and control overall volume with the channel volume.

Hope all went well. What is the "combo" in your thread title? You just mean you are running an Ultra combo into a 4x12? Those are pretty decent cabs from what I've read right? Ohms match I take it? What about tubes? Have you messed with those? And an EQ?
It's an ultra+ combo with 2 12's.....60 watts. Ohms match. It's ok....just doesn't tickle me in the nethers. I'm running it in stereo with my t-verb head. Splitting them with a mimiq. Really need a marshall to run with the t-verb.
It's got an active eq as well, so your "usual" settings won't sound like what you're used to. Also, agreed on the resonance settings. I never have mine on tight, always medium or loose.

How are you liking that Mimiq so far? Yeah. Marshall + Recto is fucking ape shit sweet. For me, as you remember, it is a Quick Rod + Rectoverb. I still have not separated them out space wise like @RaceU4her suggested.
