Question about 2016 models

So my local guitar center carries Friedmans but I was wondering if there is way to tell by looking at them whether it's the 2016 version or not

I think there an extra gain style switch that was added on the front panel.

Yessir. Gain "S"tructure...

I had it added to my 2015 about a year ago. Great option

Is the small box also different at all for 2016?

EDIT: I see Dave said earlier that it's not
