this may be a dumb question when setting up a stereo rig or a wet /dry/wet should you use (if using heads not power amps) the at lease 2 identical heads like 2 5150;s or does it matter or does my question make sence thanks

A typical way of setting up a stereo rig using two identical heads, is sending to the effects from the loop send in amp A, then the output from the effects into the loop returns on amp A and amp B.
For w/d/w the common way is tapping the amp's tone with a line-out box such as this Suhr:
From the Suhr into the effects, then from there into power amp and cabs. That's the simple way, many choose to implement loop switchers and a line mixer as well, to run the effects parallel.

No you don't. The advantage of using two similar heads is that the volumetaper will be the same and you avoid phase issues (assuming you change channels on both amps at the same time). The advantage of using two different heads is that (with a little experimenting and a bit of luck) you'll get a bigger sound. Volume differences and phase-problems may arise.
