Questions about EL34s

I’ve heard mixed opinions about the EL34s in this amp, but do you think it would provide a more British sound?

Can't speak about this in terms of the specific amp itself, but if you look at 6L6 versus EL34 based amps and their lineage, yes, EL34 is more Brit-Grit across the board, generally speaking.

I'm a KT77 fanboi, followed by EL34. And - amp dependent - 6550s and KT88s if the circuit and sound allow for it
