I'm setting up two Tweaker 15 combos in stereo. I have one extension cab, and am I the market for another. Hrres where I need some help:

Right now I'd like to run just the two combos with the power section/effects loop in stereo only. When do this, do I set both amps at 16 or 8 ohms?

When I have my full set-up, I'll have two combos and a 112 extension cab for each. With a wet/wet stereo set up, how do I set the ohms? 16, 8 or 4?

Any and all advice around these set-ups is much appreciated. Thanks for your help!

Sorry.... I set the ohms to 16 ohms when it's the combo only, 8 when I have an ext cab connected. Does this remain the same when I'm running both in wet/dry stereo? How about wet/wet stereo?

What goes into the inputs does NOT effect the output impedance.

You want to split your signal however you see fit and then run one signal into the fx return on each combo.

If the manual says set to 8 ohms when using extension cab then do that for both of them.

I am pretty certain that the extension cab MUST be 8 ohms as well. Double check manual.

Whether using a dual mono, wet dry or stereo setup the setup of the cabinet ohms is the same. Think of each setup as singular. You add one more for dual mono, one eith wet only for wet dry or send left and right to each for stereo.

Youre welcome. What is your preamp source? The amps themselves or something else? If its the amps themselves you split before the amps and run into the inputs. No loops needed.

Would be easier to help you with a clearer picture of all of your gear and what you want to achieve. Your goal is still cloudy to me.

My goal is to run two Tweaker 15 combos in stereo. I'll be running my dirt through the front of both cabs, using a Saturnworks splitter after dirt pedals. I'll also run stereo mod effects through the effects loops of both combos. Also going to try wet/dry set-up to see how that sounds. I'll be using this set up for small to mid sized gigs. I think this should be straight-forward, but let me know if I'm missing something. Thanks!

The splitter for the preamp is en route and should arrive in a couple days, so I haven't set it up completely yet. I'm thinking it would work this way. did set it up like this today:
Guitar > Dirt pedals > Buffered splitter > A / B inputs

A / B FX loop Sends > Mod effect stereo inputs > Mod effect stereo outs > A / B FX loop Returns

I did set it up like below today. Not exactly sure what this achieved, but it didn't catch fire....

Guitar > dirt > A input

A Send > mono in stereo chorus > stereo out / in > stereo reverb > mono out > B Return

I tried a TC Mimiq Doubler at the end of the FX chain, but took it out. I was surprised to hear that this set up drove the A pre amp through both A and B speakers, and FX through both as well. To me, this IS rocket science! I don't absolutely understand the logistics yet, but having fun figuring it out! I can tell it will sound awesome in stereo!
