I currently only run my loaded Marshall thru a Suhr Iso Line Out to the rack which is just a TC Parameteric->Rocktron Intellifx->Alesis Q20 then to SS power amp.
I’d like to add a dedicated lush clean-clean signal for Eric Johnson-ish clean (not stereo tho). I could get another load box and use my Super Reverb clone or BF Bassman (modded). Or some sort of rack pre.
Since this will be dedicated clean-clean I really want all effects in front of the amp. So I’d want to bypass the TC->Rocktron->Q20 and go straight into the SS power amp. Since the PA is SS I’m thinking a loaded Fender might be best since that has the power section in the line out signal.
Looking for input/suggestions on doing this. It looks like what I need is something that will select between the two line signals going IN (Marshall and clean) and then simultaneously (and silently) selecting the appropriate signal going into the PA.
I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to have a yet unused third channel option…for when I get that deep into this rabbit hole.
