Designed a new circuit addition that offers a serious mid scoop metal tone inspired by @ultimatemetalguitartones modded Marshall.

Jump to the 3 minute mark for the TLDR version if desired.

This is my theoretical take on it and the video came out pretty well and I wanted to share.

The video description contains timestamps for further jumping around.

Sounds like it is about to meltdown and explode. Sounds plate fed to my ear.

Sounds fucking powerful. I love when you turn up the presence or treble. Really comes alive

It doesn’t thin out as you crank on it like so many mods I’ve played in the past. In fact it does the opposite and opens up asking for more.

It’s the loudest damn amp I’ve ever heard.

It’s actually not plate fed ironically enough. I designed an equivalent circuit to a cathode follower that allows full power tube screen voltage across it for blow your mind volume headroom.

the pick strikes sound like bombs going off before the chord

I’m glad that’s coming across the mic. There’s a huge percussive pant shaking attitude that tracks really well with your right hand. That’s a huge part of an option I call excursion which I also designed and developed.
