My wife and I got a new rug for the living room a month ago and one of the corners is still sticking upward…
It’s driving me mad..
No matter what we do it sticks up by the next day
We tried folding it under with a book on it for a few days, then got it wet and retried.. then put heat on it and retried..
Then the cats started hiding stupid shit under that corner making it much worse..
I am convinced at this point that hell has a rug with a corner sticking up and a bunch of cats..
My wife is suggesting that depending on the type of flooring, carpet tape may work. We had that problem with a prior rub. We spent a little more the next time and our current rug lays flat, no curl.

Makes perfect sense. That worked for less than an hour when the cats discovered we had locked down their hiding spot for things like hair ties and started picking at it..
I’ve been a dog guy my whole life, we somehow ended up with 3 cats (all brothers)
and I’m finding out that humans are not actually in charge of anything…
