THE absolute worst band i've ever seen live. I'm not a fan of Staind either but they absolutely slayed Godsmack.

the graphic on that guitar is probably the most laser-ed over tattoo design of the last 5 years.

The thing I don't understand about Gibson, and history proves it time and time and time again... Guys, make "perfectly replicated reissues" without anything different from the originals, which means - don't change the fingerboard wood, don't chamber/weight relieve, don't fuck with the electronics, don't fuck with the tuners, don't change the angle of the headstock, don't change the ply of the binding. In short - take all the years you made a killer guitar, mid 50s for your P90 loaded Lesters, late 50s for your Lesters, early 60s for your SGs, and throw in the odd Flying V and Explorer - and just make them as EXACT to the original spec as possible, and nothing else. Nothing. No change in colours, no change in anything. And goddamnit, maybe source our some true MOP or Abalone (yes, yes, the "endangered stuff") and just make guitars like they were.

I am positive things would be better if they'd just follow this simple business M.O.

Just sayin' :dunno:
+1 !!!!!!!!!!!

When you think signature guitars you think of how many guys wanted a white lp custom like randy or a white strat like jimi's. They probably sold a million guitars over the years easy. I can't think of anyone who said I want to get a les Paul like the tough guy singer dude from godsmack. This sounds like an idea that was floated to Gibson yrs ago and by the time they actually went ahead with the idea for a godsmack guitar, nobody gives a shit. When I first heard them it was painfully obvious they were desperately trying to rip off aic and failed as does staind, I instantly change the radio whenever either come on.

What? No, I don't want a '74 Alpine White Les Paul Custom with the black pickguard and gold hardware, of course not...

Yes, yes I so do...

Why would anyone want their flanger before the distortion/overdrive in the signal chain?

This guitar is ugly as hell, make no mistake it is a smart choice for gibson. They don't expect any of you to buy it they expect the nu metal god smack fans to buy it and they will.

Toured with god smack just two years back. They filled the amphitheater every night. Sold out. Their idiotic fan base is rabid.

Hell the year after touring with disturbed they did the same thing. I thought new metal was dead, nope they just call it butt rock now.

It does still suck however lmao.

Whoever called them failed is high, they have sold 20 million albums that is a commercial success.
