From my seat I still prefer the C+ on the mic and the Bassman least. However, in the live band it's actually the opposite- the C+ is my least favorite and the Bassman sits the best. Wild.

I'm starting to trust the mic a lot more than my ears these days. The ears are the most inconsistent part of any rig! haha

Wow. This is very interesting indeed. Goes to show the stark difference in vibe between ‘recorded tones’ vs ‘amp in the room’. Thanks for sharing this comparison. Very nice.
