Pretty sure that Engl Savage you got coming in will get you there with ease. :D

I'm sure it will too mate haha :) I just have never seen a Sig X for sale in my state. For the matter nor have i seen a Pittbull UL either. Seen the odd GL or CL, but never a UL and never a Deliverance either. Just got me fan girling a little :)
I had an amp fest a few years ago. Buddy brought his Ultra lead. We did some back and forth trading riffs with one of the amps I owned back then. You would swear they were the same amp. Damn near identical.

The mighty Rivera KR7! Not many of them around though.

Take that back....looks like Sweetwater has them??
I thought they were discontinued?? :dunno:

I believe they made some modifications to the circuit and re-released it.
That amp had more bells....whistles.....push pull pots mini switches than any other amp I have owned!!

I'm surprised nobody's suggested a Mesa Mark V.

I've never tried any of the Mark series Mesa's, but i've played a few rectifiers. After some tinkering i did get some solid tones out of them, but i found something to be slightly missing. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was with each and every one i played.

I loved my Mark V when I had it, but it is one of the last amps I would choose for someone going for a death metal tone. It can do it, but so many amps do it better.

I put up a 'NAD' post, but just thought i'd update this. Got my ENGL Savage, and i'm loving it. Crushes anything else i've had with ease. Would love to try a Fryette or Rivera in the future. Also the Egnater Armageddons have caught my eye lately, but they use 6L6's, and i tend to have liked more amps with KT88/6550 sort of tubes.

slo-100 is the tone machine you want go to rack stuff it will give you what you want

I would say the problem is the vader cabinet. Get rid of it and get a marshall size cab with v30's. Most heads will sound good enough through that.

Yeah i've had a few people say the Vader might be causing me some drama's. It's a massive shame, i waited like 2 or 3 years to finally get one. Super sceptical about getting rid of it. Will definitely try out some more V30/Greenback cabs.
