Bruce or Jeff is there any problem with disconnecting the fan on my Renegade head for recording .....say maybe 3-6 hour sessions?
Also there is very audible fan oscillation noise when you get the Main 1 master volume above 2 0'clock. It would be nice to be able to set it at about 90% and use the pre and channel masters accordingly.... some of this amps best tones are found there on both channels.
 
Did you solve the problem with the fan? I am thinking of buying this amp but hate fan noise.
 
The only time I have ever noticed the fan noise is when I have been standing very close to the head in a very quiet room.
 
I wonder why they put fans in it. Is there only one or several?
