I'd like to add a reverb pedal to my setup and wanted to get recommendations on what people are using? I've got a few EHX and TC Electronic pedals currently and might hed in that direction. How do the Hall of Fame and Holy Grain reverbs compare?

the strymon stuff sounds better than the tc pedals. I have been wanting to try a wet reverb as well/

The stereo wet will have a new reverb algorithm soon to! You can also dial up and delay, chorus, and a few other sounds through the use of there computer software.

Demeter RRP-1 Reverbulator
Van Amps - Sole Mate
Strymon - Flint or Big Skye

V2 is out now. :2thumbsup:

I've got the Neunaber Wet.

Cool pedal, but a bit of a one trick pony. It's definitely got a sound of its own. It goes from subtle reverb to wacky ethereal. I've got mine set really subtle to juice up the signal a bit. I don't tend to push the effect very often. The 'Afterneath' has a similar vibe and worth checking out if you like that sort of thing.

There are probably more functional reverbs on the market. The Strymon certainly.

Cool pedal, but a bit of a one trick pony.

If you use the expansion ports (which I do), you can set up switchable levels of reverb to use on the fly. You can also load up different versions of their firmware/software into the pedal to experiment with different types of reverbs. You can also program it to be any of their other pedals (chorus, delay, etc.) I have it set to two different levels of reverb by way of that little blue box w/white knobs/green led right above my Wobo board. I can manually step on it to change the levels of reverb, or let my switching unit do it for me (which is what I do 99% of the time). And the decay naturally falls off when switching between the two.

And we're off!!!

LOL!

I just got the Red Panda Context and it KILLS! Lots of great sounds and since I use it has a delay setting that will allow you to run delay/verb at the same time. Since I run it like an "always on" pedal for me that was what sold me. I always have about a 550ms delay running with one or 2 faint repeats. You can dial in how much verb you want in the delay setting as well so it eliminates me needing to run 2 pedals for basic delay/verb.

You can see the delay portion at around the 12:45 mark.

The Holy Grail Nano sounds great but is not that tweakable. If you just want a simple, great sounding spring/hall reverb though, I highly recommend it.

if you are looking for a straight up reverb pedal I cant recommend the MP Silver Spring enough, great pedal, 2nd would be a Wampler Faux Spring,, actually maybe tied at 1st,,, great sounding pedals!!

Just went through a huge comparison on another forum involving the strymon bigsky and the H9

Overall myself and quite a few others prefer the H9. The strymon has this sterility thing going on that does not sound natural at all.

Also the H9 can be loaded with more than one pedal, and to my ears they are using different converters than the space series which sounded thin in comparison.

Highly recommend checking out the H9 :)

I tried both the TC and the ehx. Oddly enough, I thought the ehx sounded better, but it sucked tone. The tc was very useable, but i thought the ehx sounded more authentic. Styrom pedals are out of my price range.

Blackout effector cadavernous has been on my board since I got it a year or so ago. I really dig it, very natural sounding reverb with a really cool swell feature.

The Hardwire RV-7 is worth checking out!

I wanted to like that pedal...but it was noisy in my rig so I sent it back after a couple of days.

I'd go Strymon or Wet ;)

Digitech Polara is awesome!

Just borrowed strymon blue sky from a friend. gonna see how it compares!

I'm searching for a reverb and delay pedal also...and this thread didn't help my GAS for a Strymon at all!! :D

That Flint pedal sounded pretty damn nice Reza....is it the Hagen? That's my new main amp also :)
