Revv 120 Honeymoon!
I know I know, only YouTibe Celebrities have this amp, lol. But I snagged one and totally dig it.
It has Cameron/Fortin-ish attack with tight tight tight low end. Very infrequently do I say this....I don't need/want an OD clean boost.

Here's a first draft, 2 guitars LR (Gutierrez Juggernaut with BK Juggernaut pickups)

That came out great man. Is that mic'd up or load box + IRs?

Thanks!

I ran it into TNL Fortin Beast Cream 57
Then profiled that chain with Kemper

I have a dynamount coming in so I’ll go with some old school mic soon!

Another great, modern high gain amp manufacturer from my hometown.

Glad you're enjoying it! I had one for a few months and sold it, couldn't get into it.

Curious as to what turned you off?
Im surprised to see the congested comment, this amp is almost clear to a fault.
Bright or not enough girth in ch2 might be areas to criticize, but then a pickup or speaker swap could likely cure that too

Very nice, thanks for posting! There has been a lot of interest in these Revv amps lately (including from me!) and mostly awesome reviews. Any chance you've played a KSR and can compare it to the Revv? I'm really torn between the KSR Gemini and Revv 120.

Revv amps are amazing. My next amp is the Gen120 for sure.

Nice man, didn't even know you were looking for new amps!

Flip me that profile if it came out any good?

I played an Ares in the Kiesel showroom. Based off that limited time/memory, but in comparison it seems as though the KSR is a darker amp with some smoosh to the attack and huge low mids. Really liked that a lot, totally fit my style and looked real hard at some used Ares, Gemini and Collossus ads.

ch4 on Revv actually feels/sounds a lot like the KSR.

ch3 is much more modded Marshall and the place I hang out the most. It has 3 aggression levels and a bright switch that acts like a clean OD boost- really awesome feature. Also a contour which brings some upper mids. Sits in a mix perfectly!

Kind of hard to choose and I think you'd be happy with either.

Got my 100P yesterday and agree with the OP. Very tight unboosted and very high clarity even under high gain. Best way I can describe it is maybe the inherent tightness of a mark IV with a voicing in between a KSR, The 5150III blue channel, and perhaps Friedman JJ or of the like.

Must say though, adding a fortin grind to the front makes this already aggressive amp absolutely savage. We’re talking tentpole in the pants levels of savage.

Sounds sweet. I just ordered one and your clip was the final push to get it. I was thinking 100P but the 120 seems like a better deal.

Did you get it new? It's gonna be a 5 month wait for me.

I found one used, but they have sweet deals going on now

Also, I had 3 or different Grinds, after that comment above I’m headed for another ? Lol

I absolutely loooove my 120. Got it last week and i got it dialed in pretty good. Even got channel 2 dialed in to my liking, was having a hard time with it. Bass at 9 o clock, mids at 3, highs around noon and gain at 3, gets crunchy that way. I was finding it to fat before. I wish this channel was a bit more boosted Marshall Plexi like. That would of been awesome.

Really dig your tunes crankrayhanky. T minus 5 months for new amp.

This time my amp love is for real

But now those speakers may need to flip...I used to love the Legends but now IDK
I already have v30s and k100s...maybe I'll try Creamback 75s

This recent clip I used my new dynamount Robot mic stand. It is AMAZING, so cool

What tubes are you using? Mine came loaded with 6L6's and I'm thinking of trying El34's.
