Reza being jealous I got a Larry

Not sure Larry should be too bothered about an amp of his being seen be Dave Friedman. Dave’s been quite vocal in the past about what he thinks of those who clone other builder’s circuits, so would he have really plagiarised Larry’s work? Also, wouldn’t Dave have the time, knowhow and resources to have created something that sounds just like a Larry by now if he’d wanted to?

Reza can not like it all he wants..........if you like it then that's all that matters. Larry's have a sound all their own and that can't be debated. He should be happy that you took his spot in line since he doesn't like it.

Sounds like he was going to ask Dave Friedman to mod the amp? Seems a bit odd to me - pay all that money for a unique amp and send it off for a mod? Why not ask Larry to tweak whatever he wanted tweaking? Perhaps Larry said no? I guess you can do what you want with your own amp, but I can understand why Larry might not have wanted to have his circuit modded. We all know that Larry is proud of and extremely protective of his designs, so I can imagine that news that his circuit would be modded would not have gone down well with him.

No doubt, like I said if I were Larry knowing someone was going to turn and burn an amp to get modded...it would be insulting. Why would you want my amp? Order another amp. To order something with such certain specifications..with the plans to mod it is insulting. This is just my opinion.

For 6k and a five year wait who gives a crap what they do with it? I could basically learn how to build amps in the time frame he delivers. I'll get it to you by 2030. :LOL:
