Richie Kotzen on Beato

Dude has that rare combo of very high level vocal and guitar chops and doesn't sound like a shrieking banshee on the mic neither. Not sure I'll watch the whole video or not but it seems like Beato actually washed his hair for that interview so I'm guessing this particular guest was especially important to him.

Very excited, I listened a lot of his musing in the early 2000s

Watched this yesterday. I always liked Richie and he is a hell of a player. The part where he is playing the fast runs while talking to Rick just boggles the mind. The little live clip of him playing with his bassist was really cool.

Who gives a shit about vocals I don’t.
Vocals are way more important to the average listener than the guitar. If you suck on vocals I don't care about your chops, I'm leaving. I know one former major label guitarist around here like that. It's embarrassing and I have a hard time wrapping my head around how such a smoking guitarist lacks any cognizance of how bad he sounds on the mic but I suppose his pride prevented him from hiring a singer.

Whatever, Beatto fucked up the Trower int as well. Also enjoyed while Richie was playing while Beato was trying to talk.

Saw him 3x with the Winery Dogs years back. Just an amazing musician; not many (if anyone) have that dual threat talent.

You wouldn't be Carl F if you weren't pissed off about something.
