Well...I just ordered a Plexitone pedal.

Due to mentoneman's clip and this you tube video...the crunch setting sounds very cranked old Marshall.

main rig

this is killer. Do you run guitar into GCX, then out of each of 2 loops into each amp? One cab for each head, both always on?

I run guitar into first loop of GCX, then TS9 in loop1, NS-2 in loop 2, then out of loop 2 back into the front of the GCX into "guitar in." Then I use both outputs of the GCX to feed the input of both amps at the same time. This allows me to MIDI control with my ground control if I want the TS9 or NS2 hitting the front of my amps. I run my TJ as a dry amp, nothing but the TS9 and CH2. Herbert has the TS9, CH2, and the G Major 2 through the switchable loop. My hi gain crunch sound is just both amps same time with nothing but the TS9 through the front of both, no FX loops on. Herbert does a wet sound with FX if I choose a patch that turns on the Herbert's loop. If I want just one amp or the other, I have a patch where the Herbert uses it's mute and I get just the TJ. If I want the Herbert alone, I have a patch that makes the internal switching relay of the G major (which is plugged into TJ's ch footswitch port), turn the TJ from Ch2 to CH1, which has the volume at zero. Same thing happens when I hit my clean patch, Herbert does cleans with some reverb and delay alone. Power is set up with the cabs in stereo, each head is going to both cabs at the same time.

Only thing left is getting a stereo 2ch ISP Decimator G, so that I can run the loop of both amps through the ISP, along with the guitar through it, for dead silence. Right now, I have a very weak ground loop hum. Not bad by any means, but I want everything perfect eventually.

IMHO, what always screws up these threads, is it turns into a picture whoring contest with people posting 19 huge pictures of EVERYTHING THEY OWN. These threads are supposed to mean post up your main rig, or live rig, not necessarily your whole collection. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but just think it would be "cleaner" to see what people are using as their main rig, with say a limit of 3 pics or so. It would make for a nicer reading thread, especially if you are interested in seeing how people have their live/main rigs setup. That gets tough when every piece of gear they own is in their pics.

There should be two threads for this. live/main rig vs. collection thread.

Thanks man! The El Cap is not always on because I use the two SDE-3000 delays a lot too, but any clip where I've actually printed the delay (as opposed to adding delay when mixing to a dry guitar, which is what I do most often) has been the El Cap, or some old clips were with a Replex. The clip I remember using the El Cap on was this one. There is also a Mojo Vibe turned on later:

Mine is just one rig. One head, pedal board, rack w/effects, stereo power amp, 3 4x12 cabs for W/D/W. That is what I'd play live if I was still playing live…

Perhaps I should disqualify myself from threads like this since I don't play live anymore, I dunno...

My main amps (BE-100 and Mesa Mark V). I bring only one half stack for gigs. Next gig will be the Friedman.
So I mainly play with the two guitars on the wall (EBMM Petrucci BFR and 2012 Gibson Les Paul R8)
I have a couple of Jacksons for backups for the EBMM and other tunings.

I was thinking the same thing. I did post 5 pics (two guitars, FX, amp and cab in my chain), but that's the exact rig that I'm using now (haven't taken a pic with all of it in the pic yet). Didn't feel the need to post-up a dozen plus pics of a room full of other crap. And frankly, I'm pretty happy with the "humble" simplicity of my rig and the purity of tone that I'm getting from it. Complicated may be impressive to look at, but the older I get, the less wires and diodes I want between my guitar and amp (and IN my amp). I'm a big fan of single channel, P2P, simple circuit amps these days.

I'd say you're still eligible seeing as you used to gig extensively. Hell, Hendrix hasn't gigged for over 40 years now and people still want to know about his rig

On your El Cap settings...how do you have the "secret" parameters set up or do you not mess with those?
What is that red wah (if it is a wah) on your board?
