Dig this!
Thunder 7 was one of my favs back in the day. Still break out the cassette, while working in the garage (sometimes on my Triumph Tiger 800!

).
I remember staying up all night to learn Dee by Randy Rhoads when I was 17.
Thought I'd tackle Midsummer's Daydream next. No dice:
This instrumental always hits hard for me. So 80s sounding now, but still love it:
Side note:
Listening to these takes me back. Around the same time period, I was also into Tesla Mechanical Resonance (
@Exo-metal ), Pink Floyd Momentary Lapse, Dokken BFTA, GnR AFD...
Then quickly got into heavier stuff like Ozzy NRFTW, Iron Maiden 7th Son, Dio Last In Line, Metallica AJFA, Anthrax State of Euphoria, Megadeth Peace Sells... and Industrial stuff like Ministry Land of Rape & Honey, Skinny Puppy Perpetual Intercourse, NIN Pretty Hate Machine.
Those, lots of PF, LZ, and Sabbath probably made up my whole tape collection at the time. Oh, and my first 2 cassettes, Ratt Invasion of your Privacy (fav album cover, Slaughter Stick It To ya up there) and Motley Theater of Pain.
I had Grim Reaper, Kingdom Come and King Diamond, too, now that I think about it, probably due to some unscrupulous dealings.
Still have and listen to most of these cassettes, + a bunch more.
Late 80s was so fun. Who knew what was right around the corner.
Black Crowes signaled a shift. Then Nirvana hit. I still remember the first time I heard AIC. Didn't know what to think. And then the 90s happened.
