I was never a huge Blackmore fan in the past
but I'm enjoying going back and listening to
stuff I've kinda overlooked.

He got sloppy by 82 onward but still some killer tunes! I love the early Deep Purple stuff.. Blackmore really ripped up on Child in Time, Highway Star, Lazy etc..

I'm definitely a fan. He is amazing live and really I have not heard much about him lately. Thanks for reviving him on this forum.
Funny, because I have recently gotten into playing Lazy. It was not easy to learn.. He does things that put him in the tremendously gifted category. He is unique that is fo sho.

I think Kage posted one of these relatively recently....one of the greatest of all time IMO...phrasing, melody and tasty chops.
