Ritchie Faulkner is a Monster!!!

The more I listen to Ritchie Faulkner,
the more blown away I am!!!!
If Zakk didn't turn into the BLS "Viking Scribbler"
he probably could've ended up somewhere
in the ballpark.

Here is where the whole thing gets a little weird.... without Zakk there would be no Faulkner ..or at least no Faulkner in his current style. Everything about his playing style screams " I was the biggest Wylde fan". So yeah, he sounds like a good Wylde from the No More Tears tour.

As for wah, I prefer it in slower playing and having it cut in and out, not washing the whole solo. the exception would be Shenker. The way he gently rocked that wah to build up a fast lead or held it at a frequency for a vocal cut was truly artistic. The step on it as fast as you can feels like filler.

Ok, all that aside, Faulkner is a damn good player.

Saw priest a couple months ago. Ritchie is definetly a Zakk fan. Great stage presence and watching him move around was a lot like watching Zakk. They sounded great live, but without Ritchie the visual would have been very boring( totally understand they're not young anymore).
