I've been considering trading my FM9 for a Helix rack setup, mainly for the effects, cause its so much cheaper, but the interface and routing seems so limited compared to the Fractal. Instead I might just bite the bullet and go whole hog on an FX3.

It really depends on what you’re after, I love my Axe, the helix rack is about a third of the cost when you consider the unit and foot controller.

Since you already have the FM9, if it were me, I would be looking to keep the FM9 and add in an Axe FX, you would have a smaller portable option that would make an excellent back up.
