My initial reaction was this is ridiculous. After reading the article, it's clear Waters has gone completely nuts and needs medical treatment. Sad to see it.

I would say Gilmour’s emotive playing has touched and meant as much to as many people (even non-players) that feel they were moved by the lyrics or music that Waters wrote. This level of ugliness is a real shame because Waters is a great lyricist and song writer. Momentary Lapse of Reason isn’t exactly a bad record either.
